Every figure on this page is counted from the published reviews themselves. A provider joins the ranking once it has 3 or more published reviews. 55 of the 135 reviewed providers qualify today, from 401 published reviews in total.
Ratings cluster at the top: 38 of the 55 ranked providers average exactly 5.0, so a plain average cannot put them in order. The ranking uses a Bayesian average instead. Each provider starts at the site-wide average of 4.82, carrying the weight of 5 reviews, and moves toward its own reviews as they accumulate. A long record of strong reviews counts for more than a short one.
Recent reviews count for more than old ones. Each review is weighted by its age against the newest review on the site, published Sep 2026, and that weight halves every 12 months. A review published without a date is weighted as the oldest review in the set.
Each provider’s ranking score is published against its name, to 3 decimal places, which is the precision it is ranked at. Providers level at that precision are ordered by review count, so the order of this board follows from the two numbers shown against each row. The rating and review count are the ones that provider’s profile page shows.
