Founded in 2018, The Fulfillment House began as a passion project by two local business owners who saw an opportunity to do business differently. As one of their sons with Down syndrome navigated the often challenging transition to life after high school, they recognized a gap not just in meaningful employment opportunities for adults with special needs, but also in high quality, reliable fulfillment services for growing businesses. Today, The Fulfillment House is a unique nonprofit fulfillment provider that combines professional shipping and packing services with a powerful social mission. Our fulfillment operations are supported by adults with special needs and disabilities, providing enriching, purposeful employment while delivering dependable results for our customers. This two pronged model has fueled rapid growth, from shipping just 2,500 packages per month two years ago to more than 20,000 packages today. And we are just getting started. With strong community and family support, we have taken the next leap by building a larger fulfillment facility, slated for completion in early 2027, allowing us to serve even more businesses while expanding opportunities for the individuals who power our work.
