In 2004, Oli and Will's parents founded The Honey Doctor. From that moment e-commerce became a dominant trend in the Martin household.
Joining the family business in 2019, Oli identified that tech could drive efficiency in the areas of marketplace management, inventory control and fulfilment. Fast forward to 2021 and system in place, Oli brought the idea to Will. At that time Will was working as an outsourcing consultant for a Big 4 firm in London. One look at the system and resignation letter submitted, Will was on a train back to the Westcountry and Littledart Fulfilment limited was born.
They believe that fulfilment should be simple, agile and a partnership between them and you. Littledart Fulfilment currently has 19 brands across their warehouses who trust them to store, pick, pack and ship their orders.
They have just finalized on LDF 3.0 and look forward to new brands, ideas and products coming into the warehouse.
Their clients range from jewelery to blankets, to genetic testing kits, to chocolate to wood chips and the list goes on. They work hard to ensure that all of their brands get to keep what makes them, them!
Third-party logistics (3PL) refers to outsourcing supply chain activities—such as transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfillment—to an external provider.
By leveraging 3PL services, businesses focus on their core competencies while professionals manage the logistics.
Here’s how 3PL integrates into your supply chain:
Inventory Storage: Products are stored in a 3PL-managed warehouse.
Order Processing: Once an order is placed, the 3PL picks and packs items.
Shipping: The 3PL partners with carriers to ensure prompt delivery.
Returns Management: Customer returns are processed efficiently to maintain satisfaction.
Cost Savings: Eliminates the need to own or lease warehouses.
Scalability: Supports seasonal spikes and growth without infrastructure investment.
Expertise: Access to advanced technology and optimized processes.
